Best Thing Ever
I'm newly diagnosed as being diabetic and using my old test kit was painful. I purchased the Pip Starter Kit and I've been very pleased. The lancets don't hurt and the test strips don't require a lot of blood. I'm so impressed that I've signed up for monthly shipments.

I’m really disappointed. The monitor didn’t work. It’s 40 points higher than my actual level. I used the glucose control solution V1 and the results was the same 130.

Beware for Children
My Type I child (7) screamed at the first use of the lancet. He acted like it was the worst finger stick he has ever had (diagnosed at 18 months). I’m talking emotional traumatization. My husband (38) tested it, thinking my son was overreacting, but he said it actually was fairly painful and left his finger feeling sore for a couple of days after. I wanted this to be painless so bad! But it’s just not there.
