FAQS

Will a Pip pen needle work with my injectable medication pen (like insulin, Ozempic, or HGH)?

Yes! Pip Pen Needles are designed to meet the same standards used by most major pen injector brands. That means they’re compatible with nearly all modern injection pens—including those used for:

  • Insulin (Lantus®, Humalog®, Levemir®, Novolog®)
  • GLP‑1 medications (Ozempic®, Mounjaro®, Wegovy®)
  • Human growth hormone (Norditropin®, Sogroya®)
  • Fertility medications
  • Biologics (like Repatha® or Enbrel®)

Just choose the gauge and length your healthcare provider recommends. Many people prefer shorter, thinner options (like our MightyFine 32g x 4mm) for less discomfort with the same effectiveness.

Pip Pen Needles twist on securely, work seamlessly, and are available in multiple sizes—so you can find the one that fits your treatment and comfort level.

⚠️ Only a few rare or proprietary pen systems (like the old NovoTwist®) require a special connector. If you’re unsure, check the packaging of your pen or ask your pharmacist.

Do you ship internationally?

Right now, we only ship within the United States—including all 48 continental states, plus Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. We don’t offer international shipping just yet, but we’re hoping to expand in the future.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We offer free standard shipping on orders over $25. If your order is under $25, shipping is just a few bucks—but you can offset that cost on your first order by using code TRYPIP at checkout. It's our way of saying "welcome to the family"!

Are Pip products covered by insurance?

Great question—and honestly, what most people are really asking is: how much will this cost me?

At Pip, we don’t bill insurance. Instead, we keep things simple with one clear, upfront price—no hidden fees, no surprise copays. In many cases, we’re actually more affordable than what you’d pay for an “insurance-covered” brand after copays and deductibles.

The good news: Pip products are covered by most FSA and HSA plans, and we accept FSA/HSA cards right on our website.

If you’d like to check with your insurance provider directly, feel free to share our receipt or UPC code from your purchase (online or in-store) to ask about reimbursement. But the bottom line? You don’t need a prior authorization or paperwork to get started with Pip.
